The Superstar Teachers

Hello everybody! In this post we are going to introduce every member of the team.

Name of the team: THE SUPERSTARS. This is our name because when we were thinking about what could be the name of our group, we realized that everyone of us is good in something, so this is why we decided to call us by this name.

Pet team: a Star named Lucky.

Your fear as a team:  Falling into the lack of disorganization, not getting the expected results, not having enough time to do things, having different ideas and not reaching a common agreement, all leading to an aspect of failure, failure.

Your best point as a team: The closeness to work, initiative, good communication, commitment among the members of the group, pooling the knowledge of each member of the group to achieve better results.  

Why are you together? We are together because both groups are working together in others jobs. We haven’t got any problem between us because we have organized well to carry out with the different tasks.

Cristina Huete Martinez - Team Star

Hello everyone! 

My name is Cristina Huete Martínez and I am 18 years old.

Last year I was studying the second course of high school in an institute of San Javier because I lived there, but this year as I am in the University I am in a flat in Murcia with three friends who are also from San Javier.

Some of my positive points are that I am a cheerful, competitive girl, I like to work in a group and I know how to motivate my colleagues to continue doing the work. On the other hand, I also have negative points such as that I am a vague person, I get nervous when I have to speak in public and I also find it difficult to concentrate on the work because I am always joking.

Since I was little I really like children so my dream is to be a good teacher. I would also like travelling so I would try to visit all the countries I can.

I have chosen this photo because I have played basketball since I was 12 and also because I am a person who does not like to be alone so I try to always be with my group of friends.

Lucía Marín Abad - Photography Star

Hello,  my name is Lucía and I’m 18 years old. I have studied the second year of Bachiller of Science in IES Vega del Táder, in Molina de Segura.

The best of me is that I am always smiling and I try that others can smile too and this have relation with my costume of helping to others, because I like it. I think that the worse of me is that I have the tendency to not to express how I am really feeling when I’m sad, because I usually save my emotions inside of me.

My fear is loneliness, because I need to have almost one person that encourages me to do something.

What is my dream? I think it’s a difficult question to me because I have a lot of dreams, but I think that the two more important are: becoming a good teacher to be able to influence in her students, because I think that if we want to change the society we have to focus on children’s’ education; and the another one is to travel around the world to know the different countries, costumes, foods, etc.
Finaly, I choose this picture because it represents two of my passions, which are photograpy and travelling.

Andrea Ruiz Sánchez - Makeup Star

Hello everybody! 

My name is Andrea and I'm 19. One year ago I was studying the second year of bachiller in order to get into the university. Even though I'm studying the degree in Primary Education because I love teaching children, one of my biggest dream is to become a makeup artist, and I hope I can do it someday. From an academic point of view, mi better is that I'm a very creative person and I like to use technological devices to work. On the other hand, I found very difficult to stay focused a lot of time and sometimes I'm very lazy.

Marta Martínez Bueno - Basketball Star

Hello, my name is Marta Martinez and I am 18 years old. Last year I studied second year of high school in the institute of san javier which is located in the southeast of Murcia. 

Apart from being a good teacher my dream would be to work with animals since from a young age  i have clear that I am passionate about helping them, whether by donating money, or for example by creating a foundation or a shelter. Another of my dreams would be to travel around the world and discover new cultures.

As for my academic point of view, I could say that I like to work in groups and respect, I listen and accept all the opinions of my classmates. On the other hand, the negative point could be the tranquility with which I do the work since I have difficulty concentrating, in addition to one of my fears is to speak in public since I get very nervous.

The reason to choose this photo is because it reflects my personality perfectly, in this picture I go out playing basketball, which I practice since I was 8 years old. I have chosen it because thanks to this sport I have learned what it means to work as a team, helping my classmates and motivating them and the responsibilities that this requires.

Mónica López Pérez - Volley Star

Hello everyone, I’m Mónica López. I’m 18 years old and I’m from Almoradi, a small village in Alicante near the coast and the beach.

From an academical point of view, my positive point is that I have initiative to do something, for example to go out with my friends or to do the homeworks that we have to do in our home.

Contrary, my negative point is that I’m very patient, in my personal life and in my academical life so this factor can produce problems with rest of the members of the group because there are people who prefer to work fast and I prefer to work with relaxation.

Last year I was in my last course of Bachillerato in my village, in a high school called Azud de Alfeitami. After the exam pre-university I decided to go here because in Alicante wasn’t this degree.

About my dream, I don’t have an specific dream but I want to do the things that I really like, for example, travel around the world or finish this degree.

I have chosen this picture because represents me. I love sports and especially Voleyball. I play volleyball in my village but now, as I’m here, I can’t practice it.

Jose Pina Serrano - Music Star

My name is Pepe. I am 30 years old and I live in the town of Callosa de Segura, in the southern of Alicante province. I have the degree of music, speciality of French horn. Music is one of my greatest passions.

To my mind, my best point would be that I am a hardworking person and I always try to do my best in any kind of thing that I am involved.

My worse point would be that I have trouble to make up my mind and hesitate about what I am doing, and I sometimes wander off the subject.

There are so many things that I would like to achieve in my life. Therefore my dream would be to reach a point in which I feel satisfied with different aspects of myself: cultivate good relationships with interesting people, being active and healthy (both mental and physical), have a good job which allows me to earn the enough amount of money to enjoy life and travel to different countries, knowing different cultures and help other people who may be are in need.

Paula Palacios Espadero - Horseback Riding Star

Hello everybody!

My name is Paula. I'm 18 years old. The last year I was in my last year of high school, called IES Cañada de las Eras, in Molina de Segura. I've chosen this picture because i love the horses, it is my favourite animal and I also ride horses. Related with this, my dream is to be able to jump a metre and a half with my horse, I now it is a bit dangerous but I know I can do it.

My best point is that I am very perseverant, I never give up, and my worse point is that I'm not able to control my stress when I have to do an exam. And finally, my bigest is not to be happy.

Ana Sánchez Llorente - Pet Star

Hello! 

My name is Ana, I’m 18 years old. I’m from Cehegin, which is a town located in the northwest of the Region of Murcia. The last year I was in high school called IES Vega del Argos studying 2nd of baccalaureate. My dream is travel around the world and become a teacher. From my academic point of view something good is that I am hard-working and responsible. On the other hand, my worse point is that I am shy and insecure for speak in public.
